Gallery - Colors

Having the MAFCA Paint Chip book is great and using the Model A Restoration Guidelines and Judging Standards to look up the colors that Model A were painted is nice, but the chips and the charts don't really help us to visualize what the Model A looks like painted in those color combinations.

On this page, your Webmaster has selected photos of Model A's in authentic colors to visually show you what those colors would look like on various vehicles. As it's very hard to get accurate colors photographed or presented on a web page, please use these photos ONLY AS A GUIDE to what the original colors look like. As the old saying goes, "your results may vary...."

If you have a Model A painted in authentic color combinations that isn't listed on this page, please send a high-resolution photo and details of the car model and paint colors to webmaster @ mafca.com. Note that your name will NOT be listed with the car to assure your privacy.

Note: color mentioned below is the primary, lower body color. Click on any photo for a closer look. Check the paint chip charts for more details.
